Shelter for people with no home
People with no registered home, no job and no family often fall through the social cracks. Often their pension is not enough to dress or feed themselves. Helping those people is the main task of the Brothers of Albert. Their beneficial work is financed by donations.
The Brothers provide permanent shelter for around 90 homeless people. They also take in people temporarily during the cold winter months.
Shower rooms for personal hygiene
Men in precarious situations who can no longer look after themselves are accommodated in the Brothers of Albert's house in Krakow, which has 90 beds. A bathhouse offers men and women the opportunity to shower and wash their clothes. Daily distributions of bread and clothing alleviate the pain.
Several times a month, the Brothers travel to Lviv and on to Zaporizhia with essential supplies to support the work of their confreres.
